GICC Honours Business of the Year Winners
With ICCON Awards at its Annual Gala

February 5, 2010 – The Greater Innisfil Chamber of Commerce presented its annual Business of the Year awards in front of a sell-out crowd at the Fire & Ice Gala held Friday evening in the Mutuel Hall at Georgian Downs. Winners received ICCON Awards, beautiful glass trophies custom made to mirror the Chamber’s new logo and to acknowledge the ‘icons’ of Innisfil – the businesses, individuals and organizations that make important contributions to our Town and its business community.

The evening was emceed by Glenn Coulson, host of Rogers TV DAYTIME show, and the 200 attendees enjoyed a sumptuous dinner, fabulous door prizes, and entertainment. Of course the highlight was the presentation of the awards.

ICCON Awards were presented in eight categories: Young Entrepreneur Award, Green Business of the Year, Service Business of the Year, Retail Business of the Year, Manufacturing/Industrial Business of the Year, Community Award, New Business of the Year Award and the coveted Business of the Year Award.
